This Vendor Policy governs all vendors (“Sellers”) who register and sell products or list services on Sammy Agora Marketplace (“the Platform”). By signing up as a vendor, you agree to abide by all terms, rules, and operating guidelines outlined in this document, as well as all applicable Nigerian laws and regulations.
Option A: Online Registration
– Visit the marketplace and click “Become a Vendor.”
– Complete the onboarding form with required business and personal details.
– Submit KYC documents.
– Accept all marketplace policies.
Option B: Formal Application via Email
Option: C: Contact Sammy Agora Marketplace via her official WhatsApp number
– Send a vendor application email to info@sammyagoramarketplace.com containing business information and identification.
– All product descriptions, prices, and images must be accurate.
– Items sold must meet stated quality conditions.
– No counterfeit, illegal, or banned items may be listed.
– Vendors must update stock availability promptly.
– Price manipulation is prohibited.
– Must not list a product that is unavailable and must notify the marketplace as soon as they are out of stock
– Vendors must process orders within the agreed time.
– Products must be properly packaged.
– Vendors must meet delivery timelines.
– Failure to fulfill orders may lead to penalties.
– Vendors may use marketplace logistics or self-managed shipping.
– Proper packaging and labeling are mandatory.
– Vendors are responsible for damages from improper packaging.
Sammy Agora Marketplace uses a Replacement-Only Policy.
Customers may request replacement for:
– Wrong, damaged, or incomplete items.
– Items not matching descriptions.
Vendor responsibilities:
– Process replacements promptly.
– Bear return costs when at fault.
– Inform the us of the unavailability of listed product (this is to ensure that products earlier listed are taken down when there is no stock of it or when its unavailable)
– Payout is made after delivery confirmation and expiration of the replacement window.
– Payouts may be withheld during investigations or policy violations.
– Commissions, service charges, and penalties apply.
– Fee structures will be communicated accordingly.
– Maintain professionalism and timely communication.
– No fraudulent activities or diversion of customers.
– Pictures of product must be exact same product delivered (this can trigger legal action if otherwise)
– Protect customer data and platform information.
– Respond to complaints within 24–48 hours.
-Must not personally reach client(who placed order from Sammy Agora Marketplace) after successfully fulfilling an order.(Sammy Agora maintains contact with client in the case of any required clarification)
No listings may violate trademarks, copyrights, or patents.
Vendor accounts may be suspended or terminated for:
– Customer complaints
– Counterfeit items
– Fraud
– Policy breaches
– Poor performance
Internal mediation is required first. Unresolved issues may proceed to external mediation as per Nigerian law.
The Marketplace may update this policy anytime, with notifications to vendors.
By registering, the vendor agrees to all terms in this Vendor Policy.
